    Teaching and learning Expression using English Material

    Using expression in conversation has great impact in relationship. Student should understand on how to use it and what condition require it. In this article, I’m trying to explain few simple thing about ‘expression‘.

    About Expression.

    What is expression? Expression is a situation when we show our feeling to the other people. When a some one asking a question, it is best not only to answer the question abut also showing the expression at the same time. As an example, if our friend ask “Do you know how to learn effectively?”. Kindly answer the question honestly and don’t forget to smile at them. Smiling at this even was called as showing “expression”. “Expression” may not the same as “expressing opinion”.

    As human, we cannot live without other. It is advised to keep good relationship. The best way to keep good interaction is by asking the condition. We can use “How are you?”. It is a type of question which is widely used to ask a condition of a someone. They will answer the question based on their condition. Most of the times they will say “I’m Fine, thank you”. What to do then? Smile at them and say few words. Smiling is an activity to show happy expression.

    Sad Expression.

    Sad Expression is the opposite of happy expression. If someone told us about sad events such as losing money or stuffs, it is encouraged to show them sad expression.

    Teaching student to use expression.

    We already talk about expression and expressing opinion. Both of them were not same. Expression involve an activity to tell another people by using movement or attitude. Expressing Opinion may involve doing expression. It is widely known as showing the expression by using words and sentences.

    Learn on how to use expression.

    Using expression is subject to follow the situation. It is always good idea to learn on how to use it and when it have to be used. Always avoid using wrong expression as it will lead into trouble. Expression will make other people really like us. It also has the ability to turn the relationship into negative. Expression is good for almost in any situation. Sometimes it is better to use expression rather than answering the question. Expression is the only choice when we don’t want to talk or discuss about a something. Just shake our head to the left and right and they will know what it means. Expression also useful to answer question make the answer looks formal. We can say “no” to refuse a something. Shaking the head to left and right or give a sign if it is ‘no’. Combining both expression and expressing opinion will result in good result.

    Teaching student in Junior and Senior High School to use expression.

    Student in Junior and Senior High Schools should be able to use and implement the expression into their daily activities. For student in Junior High School, teacher should understand the basic emotional element of human in young age. Expression involve an activities to move or express the feeling. Emotional elements and expression is closely related. Student with good emotional focus will have bigger possibilities to express their mind. For Senior High School, teacher has to be quite sure about what they need in young ages. They want to be famous and always get what they want. Thinking about it will make teacher able to teach them successfully. For student in junior high school, Teacher should directly show them various expression while teaching. They have the skills to copy and imitate the teacher activities.

    For student in Senior High School, try to tell them a story and read their expression. They already understand on what should be done and what expression they should avoid. Keep doing some intensive communication and show them various expression while communicating. Alternatively, both teacher in Junior and Senior High School can teach them on what should they do whenever they encounter an events. Teacher should understand about few kinds of English material about expression.     Teaching Plan is a guidelines on how to maximize times and efforts while teaching in class. It has several step by step on how to do the activity. There is always goals while teaching. An excellent teaching plan would always try to measure the times to accomplish it.

    Who need Teaching Plan?.

    All teacher need at least one Teaching Plan. Everyone whom teaching student need it.

    Why Do Teacher need Teaching Plan?.

    Imagine yourself driving car somewhere without map and no sign in road. What will happen? Guess everyone already understand it. Teaching plan has a goal to help teacher maximizing their times and achieve better result. It will guide them on how to be great teacher in class.

    What will happen if Teacher didn’t use Teaching Plan?.

    There will be no time management. Teacher will lose time and unable to accomplish the goals. Teaching Plan is good to make teacher remember on what to do at specified times. All teacher must understand on what to do in class. But did they understand on what to do at specified times?

    Don’t mind the title. An excellent teaching plan is a guidelines which help teacher not only to maximize the times but also make it easier and faster to do the job in teaching. All teacher understand they have less time to teach the student. With so much lessons need to be done at specified times, it is going to be really hard. An excellent Teaching Plan trying to accomplish the goal by teaching few related lessons at once without stressing students. It need much skills and courage. Always confirm with local professor if there is problem in using it. The teaching plan can be used by any teacher. It is not that hard to use it. The hardest part is how to implement it successfully. Below is a basic excellent teaching plan. It was presented here as an example only. Any teacher whom really need it may ask me and I’ll gladly help it as fast as I could.

    This Teaching Plan was written by IRNA DIANA during her free times. The article in this site was written with third-person point of view and that mean I would call my self as ‘other person’. The teaching Plan in this page is an excellent examples that can be used by many students and teacher in teaching. The document has been verified by Mochammad Rifai, an excellent author and Master of RPP and Syllable widely known in local areas. The teaching plan is submitted to lecturer under the title PPL 1. Currently, Irna Diana was a student of 2009 E in UNIROW.

    While studying in FACULTY OF TEACHER TRAINING AND EDUCATION at ENGLISH EDUCATION DEPARTMENT in UNIVERSITY OF PGRI RONGGOLAWE (UNIROW) TUBAN, I was asked to make an excellent teaching plan. To finish the task, I began searching for materials and hundreds of tutorials. Luckily, I know a person that familiar with good structured English Teaching Plan. He taught me lots of things about the effectiveness and usefulness of teaching plan. Many tutorials and files in his site were really great resources for me. Judges from the resources, Mochammad Rifai surely know on his stuff.

    The theme of the RPP is about social life. It is a teaching plan designed for teaching speaking.The allocated times is twenty fives minutes. It has three indicators such as: Understanding the contents, Using and expressing the ideas in the texts and Demonstrate it. The purpose of the document is to make student doing these things: First, able to answer the question. Second, Able to identify the expression and last, able to demonstrate it in front of class. For the Instruction, take a closer look on the example below:

    Sit in a group of two or three to make short dialog expressing satisfaction, and dissatisfaction based on the given situation.
    1. You have just received your study report, and your parents are not so happy about the unsatisfying scores on some subject matters.
    2. You finally win a scientific speech competition after working hard on it for the last two months.
    3. You are chosen as the best student in your school and awarded scholarship, you are freed from paying school fee for a year.

    The Method used in this teaching Plan is Three-Phase Technique. The first step is Brain Storming by showing the images that will challenges the students to express their opinions about it. It then continued with core teaching and closed with Humor at the end of teaching times. You can take a look about it in the document. The assessment techniques used are: Performance Assessment and Rating Scale. Student with best marks in Quoted Utterances, Content, Fluency and Clarity, Pronunciation and Intonation, Grammar and Vocabulary will have greater score. The highest score is twenty. Once again, take a look in the document for more details. Students will be categorized into Mediocre, Good, Very Good and Excellent.

    Below is the material that was used in teaching plan.

    Aldiana : How do you like the camera which I gave you two weeks ago, Ai?
    Arick : It’s really great, Al. This is a kind of camera that I have always wanted to have it. It’s very different with my old camera. I’m very annoyed with the frequent troubles it has given me in some important moments. The new camera you gave me is very easy to use, very practical and has a lot of new features.
    Arick : Oh, I’m really glad to hear that. Have you tried to use it to take some pictures?
    Aidiana : Yes, look at these photographs! I took all of them using this camera. I’m really pleased with the result of every single picture that I took with this camera.
    Arick : Yeah, these are fantastic! You have a good talent in photography, Ai. I’m satisfied with what you have done.
    Aidiana : Thanks, Al. But I still need to learn a lot from you. Look at this photograph! I’m not satisfied with it. It is really difficult for me to take a picture of a moving object.
    Arick : Well, it’s not good enough, but it’s not too bad either for a beginner. Perhaps we can go around in this park and I’ll show you some techniques of how to take pictures of moving objects.
    Aidiana : I can’t say how delight I am to have a chance to learn from you. Thank you so much, Al 🙂

    The Teaching plan was attached in this page as attachment but I receive a suggestion from local university to only help the teacher whom really curious on it. This is because the document was used by hundreds of students. Actually it wasn’t the real problem. The real problem is they labeled the document with their name and then sent it to the lecturer. Of course the lecturer knew on who make the document because there were already multiple teaching plan with the same contents. The decision to remove the link for download was taken to ensure no duplicate documents made by so many students. It was easy to make a teaching plan. I wish the information in this page is sufficient to encourage any students or teachers to make their own teaching plan (RPP).     Student have so many choices on how to learn the study at any times and anywhere. There are so many ways to study while doing another activities. In this article, we would like to show the student and teacher on how to use mobile phone to learn English.

    Learning Activities.

    What is Learning activities? It is an activities performed by student to study about  anything. Learning activities was done by doing some observations or research. In simple term, it can be done just by sitting in home or by reading newspaper. The activity that is done to retrieve information and knowledge is considered as Learning Activities.

    Learning by Using Mobile Phone.

    Mobile Phone is a gadget that is easy to obtain. It available in local market and everyone is recommended to have at least one. It has so much benefit to be used as tool to learn many things. Modern Mobile Phones have so many features. While it has so much benefit, Why we didn’t use it to improve the skills in studying the lessons.

    Learn by using Mobile Phone

    Mobile phone could be used to retrieve information from the internet. It is best to find few materials from internet and read it while there is time to do that.

    An application in Mobile Phone enable user to use it for various purposes. Just install good application and it will help student in many aspects. Need dictionary? Use the phone to help solving problem related with dictionary.

    Phone enable student to get more resources to learn English and other studies. Teacher also need to do the same ways as it will help them to answer any questions from their students. Using Phone is not necessary to learn a something but use it will give so much benefits. Here is my past opinion about using Mobile Phones as tools to learn English.

    Students always want to have better marks in their assignment. They struggle really hard to realize it. Learn the materials till midnight or read again the materials from the school are common activities done by most of the students. They did it with a hope to get better result in the exams. I remember did those activities in the past. However, I found a new fact while learning in UNIROW.
    Learning from 07.00 PM until midnight have been my activities since in elementary school till now (in University). Seems it was yesterday I have graduated from elementary school. I remember used to learn till midnight because of my brother always did the same activities. He really loves learning and his habit to learn everything make me so proud of him. I make his as an example for me.
    I knew sometimes the habit to learn till midnight can be really bad. Sleepy while teacher was teaching in class is an example of it. My brother taught me to avoid it.
    I found a new way to learn everything without being worried of sleepy. It is possible because there is no need to learn till midnight. Learning by using mobile phone is the answer. If there are difficulties while learning in class, student can get the references by using mobile phone. It means more info will be available at any times. Do you know the answer when I told my brother about it? He only smile at me and said “I already know about it”. He even gave me advice on how to do that because it didn’t as simple as what I thought.
    Learning at anytime simply mean smarter. It is because student will collect much info and gain more knowledge. Mobile phone will make student able to learn all the times. It was chosen because mobile phone is a gadget that cheap and most students have it.

    Learn Effectively.

    Learning English Effectively is an activity performed by student to maximize their time while achieving great result at the same time. It was inspired by using excellent Teaching Plan for teacher.

    Student may learn seven times a week and still have no improvement in their skills and knowledge. It is because they trying to memorize and not to analyze. local teacher always ask student to memorize on what was available in books. The old pattern to learn should be changed. Learn to memorize is good for few things and very bad for many things.

    Learn to analyze is better as it stimulate the brain to find out why a something is true while the others were wrong. They’ll began asking why it is happen and what make it possible. Such question is common things when student began using their brain to learn many things.

    To learn effectively, student should understand on what they should learn and how to improve their minds easily.

    What To Learn.

    To learn effectively student should understand about what they need to learn. This is very important as it will give much difference in result whether student will gain benefit or not. Two students whom learning harder may got different result because one of them understand on what they should learn while the others only learn about what is available in books. Student whom learning harder about many things related with the lesson may achieve better result. Don’t just depend on books given by the schools. It is common mistakes to only depend on that books. There are so much resources in the internet. Use Mobile Phones to gather the resources.

    Stimulate the Mind.

    Learn EffectivelyOne more things to understand is human including student has an excellent brain. They essentially able to learn almost many things. What it needs is to open the mind with so many positive thinking. Students whom thinking the lesson is difficult will get nowhere. They must understand if learning is easy. Teacher may inspire them on what the other student in foreign countries did. Student in local areas were too much left behind. Basically it i an idea to think higher than the standard. If student was learning in elementary school, they should learn the way student in Junior High school thinking about the lesson. Teacher is responsible to make student thinking the way like that. It has no effect for student and yes, they were able to think like that.

    How to Learn Effectively.

    Student has to learn harder to get the best achievement. It is a condition which may lead into boring situation. For most student whom enjoy learning and make it as habit, it may become a happy situation. I remember myself being happy every time it come to learn English during my bed times. Here few things to which may sound interesting:

    1. Learn about a subject at once and improve it over time. Student should learn a chapter at the first time and when they think a chapter is easy, they may need to learn more than a chapter at a time. It was proven to be effective. I remember doing the technique while in junior high school. I manage to learn a books which designed to be used for a year in just a single week. Off course I didn’t fully understand.
    2. Always seeking for the related materials about the subject being studied. It is good to improve knowledge and beat the competition. I remember my teacher didn’t be able to answer most of my question even if they were related with the subject. The answer is simple, I get huge knowledge about the subject while the other may just read basic info from books. It is best to always get related and authentic materials elsewhere.
    3. Read books which is interesting. It is quite important for student. Most teacher didn’t understand about it. They only ask student to learn and never realize reading interesting books has big impact for the student.
      Student whom really love reading will get the read speed increased. It will make easier to understand a chapter quicker. Student whom reading faster may able to understand large topic at once. Reading interesting books will improve the skills in reading, increase the speed rate and refresh the mind. Books is source of the knowledge, right?

    Student should only use the right method which may work best for them. Few tips above may work best for the author but there is no guarantee that it will work best for all students.     Is it fun to learn? Well, in my personal perspective the answer is sometimes yes and few times probably not. It depend on the situation and what subject being learnt. Learning English has been great moment for me. Always doing it in night after playing with my cute cat (Yes I love pet). Making learning fun is essential. Most student didn’t enjoy studying and if they have to do it, they think it as something that has to be done to make them smarter.

    I have good conversation with professor from Australia about it. He has the same opinion with me. “Studying didn’t make student smarter”. Please do not quote it without proper understanding. Studying didn’t make student smarter because what make them smarter is their brain able to absorb knowledge. So it is the work of the brain. What does it mean? it clearly mean even if student didn’t study in the night, they’ will be smarter if they able to absorb the lesson. Studying is process to be smarter but the real answer to be smart is depend on how student use the brain. They need to teach the brain in order to be smarter. And yes, studying in the night is on of the process to become smarter. But off course there are so much better ways.

    Fun or not, it was differ between student. So if a method is working for someone, it may fail for the other. To make the learning process really fun, just make sure to only learning whenever we were ready to learn. Learning while ready will make it easier to master the lesson. Student being considered as ready if they were happy and really want to learn the lesson.

    Gathering with Friends.

    hangout with friendsWhat good it is for learning? Well, gathering with friends is an activity which will make student happier. During my research in local school few months ago, I wasn’t surprised if the result is student really love to hangout with friends rather than spending times in class. They learn in class for several hours and it make them losing the mood. Gathering with friend will bring back the mood and there is one positive effect, improve the knowledge. The professor agree with my research and showed me few facts through email. I may need to post it here in future.

    Basically student is learning hard in class and learning fun outside of class while gathering with their friends. There is no difference between inside and outside of class. Both of them enable student to learn. Teacher should understand if student may able to improve the skills just by gathering with friends. What they need to do is creating good environment to make it happen.

    Learning while gathering, is it possible?

    Off course it is possible to learn while gathering with friends. Many teachers may didn’t agree with me as they though gathering with friends isn’t a learning process. Well, actually hangout with friends can be a good method to learn faster. They could share the experiences, training their skills and bound to find the weakness. Teacher only need to make it real. They need to make good environment which will make the student willing to learn while hangout with friends. As an example, applying ‘Friday as English day’ is effective. There are so much possibilities to make it true.

    Gathering with friends and have fun.

    Leanrning English with friendsIt is nice to gather with friends and chatting all the day. Gathering with friends have been a tradition in local area. All students like to talk with their friends while they are gathering in free times. Some of them were chatting and shouting each others happily. Such situation made me think to develop a new way to learn English. After analyzing the situation for more than three weeks, I found a new way that maybe useful for everyone. It is a way to maximize the times by using any activities to learn English. After reading a blog about How To Learn Faster which has lots of articles about learning English faster and better, I came up with a new idea. I brought the idea to ‘a someone who have an authority’ and he seems really delighted with the idea.

    For three consecutive weeks, I made reports on how student use their free times. Most of them spent the times by hanging around with their friends. The gathered with their friends and split up when the class was started again. So basically, they gather with friends. Doing lots of activities such as chatting, shouting and joking happily.

    If you were thinking the idea is to make them using English in their activities, you were wrong as It is impossible to make them using English in their activities as student in local areas have low confident in using English in their free times. If you were also thinking to have them start using English in their activities, you were wrong too.

    The idea is to make student learn English without they realize it. Is it possible? during the testing made by ‘The man who have an authority’, it is possible to make student learn English without they realize it. This technique was named as passive super learning. It require lots of preparations and the result is really awesome. It is a technique to transfer the knowledge by doing conversation. I doesn’t need to be using English  It depend on the subject, if they good and has good confident, English is preferred, otherwise, native or local language is the choices. When the conversation started, the knowledge was being transferred because they will got so much explanations with joy.

    So, what should be done in order to make it possible? Well, because it use passive super learning techniques, it require a someone that is smart enough to transfer the knowledge to the others. The testing was done by ‘A someone who have the will’ whom really good in English and Myself. The result was really great. It will be continued in the next post as it is in the middle of the midnight when I write this post. Ah, I almost forgot, gathering with friends was chosen because many student in UNIROW love to do that. Read about Top Five Activities in University (UNIROW) and you will understand. ‘A someone who have the will’ is a man who found lots of techniques in teaching English. He is an expert in learning English faster. He is not the best but really curious when it come to learn English. At least, that is what I though about him. He didn’t like publication, tough.

    Studying in University is like as a luxurious lifestyle in local area. It is because not so many people able to continue the education. The problem is always with economical issues. Learning in University is requiring lots of funds and that is one of the cause why education is really expensive in my area.

    let’s relax for a moment and this page will not discuss about a tutorial on how to learn a something. This tiny post will only discuss about a little fact that make me asking all the times.

    So for anyone that was granted by the chance to continue the study, I would like to ask you a question, What should you do while learning in University? Will you study hard and become smart student or would you help the poor people to be able to continue the education or do you want to help the others who need help? While studying in UNIROW, there are lots of things come in my mind. I was so sad watching lots of people were unable to go to college because of no money to register in university. The fact if education is really too expensive made me think if my country is too poor enough to make education become cheaper or even free. It seems the country is still didn’t learn from the mistake. While struggle to get the freedom in the past, it is education which become unity that make it come true.

    What student do while learning in University? I believe student should learn harder and always examine the surrounding environment. By doing this, they will be able to feel the problems that were happen in society and someday when they become the leader (I believe one of the student must be a leader someday), lots of those problems will be eliminated.

    Maybe I was thinking too much. I was still not alright as the doctor recommend me to stop using computer for some periods of times. I wish all learners should aware of the problems around them. This is important because they will be a someone that able to change the situation in future.

    This is another example of teaching and learning materials for student and teacher. It can be used as an example on how to write opinion and feeling. It was written using general procedure for writing articles in local institution. It may differs from the other standard available in another countries. Even each universities has their own different formula on how to write the opinion and fill it into an article. This is not general guidelines on how to use the material rather than only a basic example of material. Let’s read about it.

    Save Poor Children.

    Children is someone which is in elementary school. Each areas have their own definition about children. Basically, children in this article mean a student which is in the age of four until nine years old. Children has the rights to get and continue the education. They have no obligation to work just like the adult.Poor Children.

    Poor children is a student from poor family. They may lose the rights to continue the education and forced to work due to economical situation. Children which is unable to get and continue the education due to poverty are categorized in to poor children. It is very sad situation watching them working hard when they should laughing and learning I school. Did everyone aware of their rights to get education for better life in future?

    Save the Children.

    Lots of children worldwide have suffered from many bad things. Wars, Natural disasters and poverty are the commons things caused the children not to be able to continue the education. Helping everyone is a good thing to do. Our parents teach about it all the times. It is really important to help others if there is someone needs help. If we have a something that is not useful for us, we have the option to help the others by donating it.

    Another example of Teaching and Learning materials which is totally different:

    Mr. Tri is a passionate people but not too passion to handle Mr. Leda Gienerca Sukirman. There is a puzzle that cannot being solved. It is about the assignment that has been changed by Leda Gienerca sukirman. Guessing it is the job that is usually done by my tri. But this time he was unable to do that. In fact, I’m start thinking if he thinks to much.

    I see Mr. Leda Gienerca Sukirman didn’t impress Mr. tri. Changing the assignment make the situation become worse. Mr. Tri even think if his client could be impostor or cheater. He think like that just by analyzing the name of his client. I have read lots of magazines and journal and yes, there are lots of people believe if a someone who have a suspicious name can be a bad guy. But this is the first mistake made by Mr. Tri. He think too much about the name. He did analyze the name. I think it is really amazing that Mr. tri know lots of things about the history of Greek and other tales. Such knowledge are not being owned by everyone. But, thinking too much of the name is still a silly thing.

    The fact that Mr. Sukirman changes the assignment could be because of a good reason. Maybe he want to donate only if the people he gave the donation can do the job or just because he want to test them. Guessing what he thinks isn’t an easy job. I can understand if Mr. Tri was unable to guess it. But, thinking of the person as the impostor or cheater because he wants the people want to guess it is not a good idea. Maybe I do think Mr. Sukirman is the liar too but at least I will make a further investigation before doing so.

    Reading the whole story made me think if Mr. Sukirman is easy going people which always want the challenges. Mr. tri was focused in thinking him as impostor or cheater. That is why he was unable to think the reason. There is a clue. Mr. Sukirman changes the assignment but still didn’t change the payment. A cheater or impostor will change the payment in order to make a profit. I have a worked in hosting company for years and face lots of clients. Few of them were cheaters. If Mr. Sukirman is a cheater, he will change the payment for sure. Cheater will spend lots of times and make the people frustrate. Maybe Mr. Tri was frustrate because of thinking why the people who want to donate make a puzzle and not just donate the money. I believe Mr. Sukirman didn’t want to make him frustrate.

    Mr. Sukirman is a good person. I can say this because He still gives a chance for Mr. tri to guess on the reasons why he changed the assignment. He even will double the payment if he could guess it. Three days are enough to get the reasons. Mr. Sukirman can change to other agency if he wants it but he still gives the chance. Why he asks Mr. Tri to guess is another mystery. The fact that Mr. Sukirman is the second richest man in the town makes sense. Sometimes, a rich man does a something odd. It often happens in my life. Mr. Tri should understand it at first if he really take the words of Mr. Sukirman that said if the money isn’t the problem. When Mr. Tri knows if Mr. Sukirman was the new owner of the agency since last month from his boss, It is Another fact that made me smile. Sometimes the owner needs to know the capabilities of his people.

    Two example of teaching and Learning Materials above were totally different as the first example was quite easy, simple but quite easy to understand. The next example was hard, need lots of thought and may not too easy to be read by casual reader. It is encouraged for student to write the article or essay using the first standard above. It is an opinion from a student which trying to sum up and commenting an essay about “Sumpah pemuda”, an article which written by my professor. It consist of how student and young generation can help building the nation by studying harder and lead the nation.

    A prosperous country is a dream of everyone. Many innovations and inventions were used to achieve the goal. Great countries such as United States and Japanese have really long stories. Both of them have implemented lots of inventions and innovations to make the countries become greater and better. They were not great countries at first. They become greater because of the people who control the nations. In specific, young people take the great role in the progress. They struggle really hard to make their nations become great countries as what we can see at the moment.

    Indonesia is not yet a great country. At least, that is what I believe in my mind. I do only state that great country is not only a country which is rich but it is a country that can maximize any resources it had. A country with fewer resources can be added into the list of great country if it can use it very well despite of low resources. The resources are not only by the mean of materials but also the efforts to make the country become greater.

    Indonesia used to be a great country in the past. The proof is a document named as “SUMPAH PEMUDA”. It is a vow made by Indonesian in 28 October 1928. The vow itself contains three important sentences. The first sentence said as the young man they vow to be Indonesian without exception. The second element said if they only believe in one nation, Indonesia. The last part state if they respect ‘Bahasa’ as the language of Indonesia.

    It seems my professor looks really concern with the situation in Indonesia. Through the writing at the last sentences in his first paragraph, he stated if it should be the old men who were doing the vow and not the young men. This only mean one thing, He criticizes the people who have had forgotten about the nationality. He stated “We Live happily in this world is just more than gift, So, it should be us who make the vow and not the young”. However, further analyzing of his writing proof is he also asking all the people and not only the young men to believe once more time to a vow made by young men in 1928.
    The writer looks really like the three sentences in the document. He state about it many times. There is an important message in his writing. He want the young men at this modern era to believe once more time to the three sentences in the document as he believe it.

    In the last paragraph, he really proud of the beautifulness of his country but also wonder why there are so much things that have been forgotten by everyone. He give the example such as the vow made in 1928 which is the basic struggle to make Indonesia as independent nation, the cultures that differentiate Indonesia with other nations.

    Conclusion and expectation.

    In few paragraphs, there are lots of messages for reader. The writer seems really love the nation. He ask for everyone at his age to keep moving forward once more time. It also mean he ask the young men to struggle hard as what the people in 1928’s did. The writer looks full of spirits. He stated that the freedom of Indonesia is the important thing and he willing to defend it till the last. He also wouldn’t let bad people to do bad things to the country. At the last sentence in last paragraph, He asks everyone to keep Indonesia in the ‘healthy’ condition. Depth in my heart, I think the professor want to make a statement “It is our vow to protect the assets of the country. We will keep it safe. We will not stop to struggle for Indonesia. We will do everything to make Indonesia as what the prosperous country as what the people in 1928’s want it. If we (the old men) can do it, how about you (the young men)? Will you struggle really hard for your country as what we have done?”.

    Sometimes I feel my professor trying to communicate and send the message from young people who live in 1928’s. maybe it just my opinion but I learn one thing from his writing. As the young men will struggle even harder for this country. We will make the spirits of people in 1928’s alive in our heart. We will always remember it. At last, I’m starting to believe if Indonesia is a great country. We will make Indonesia even greater from now on. We cannot make any vow about it but we make the vow which is created in 1928’s as our vow. I love Indonesia.

    The example above could be used by student and teacher in local areas. For schools and education institution, the example above maybe used for elementary and junior high school. It is specially designed to be as simple as possible while keeping it looks like written by student in Junior high school. It may looks complicated at first but it was written as is.
